Palmier Io

Palmier Io

Palmier Io is an AI-native video editor built for creators who want to generate and edit AI media in one continuous workflow. Instead of juggling separate AI generation websites and a traditional non-linear editor, Palmier Io places multi-model AI generation directly on the editing timeline. You can summon clips from leading models including Kling AI, ByteDance Seedance, Google Veo, and xAI Grok Imagine without ever leaving the application.

The editor itself is a capable professional tool. It supports multi-track timelines for video, audio, images, and text, with trimming, splitting, speed ramps, opacity controls, and transforms. Real camera footage and AI-generated clips sit side by side on the same timeline, so you can mix captured reality with generated imagination seamlessly.

Palmier Io also embraces the Model Context Protocol, which means external AI agents like Claude Desktop, Cursor, and Codex can connect to your project, read timeline data, and make edits programmatically. This turns the editor into a programmable canvas for agentic video workflows.

When your work is done, Palmier Io exports to MP4 using H.264, H.265, or ProRes, and it can write NLE XML files compatible with Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve for handoff. The base editor is free and open source, while AI generation runs on a flexible credit system.
